As almost anything in the world, fashion is a business and not any kind of business. It is a very profitable business. Usually, people seem to care about its beauty, uniqueness, style, elegance or outstanding features. But this is just on the surface. In reality, all this beauty asks for a large number of people ready to buy and sell everything fashion means. Clothes, accessories, the concept as such or the brand, everything is a business. And this means just the final part.

But there is an entire process in order to reach this point. There are people who are supposed to buy materials, others who cut and fasten the models which have been already created by the fashion designers.

The moment the product is ready, the business is just following its way. Specialized shops will house them. Then, other people will have to come up with their skills in order to make everything disappear from the shelves and embellish the bodies of the most different women we may imagine.

Step by step, these results of an inflamed mind, of the designer, are meant to thrill all senses. Our eyes are supposed to be attracted like a magnet by these fragments of dreams and our mind should capture them in such a way that we would like the products more than anything else. Then, there are the fashion parades which have become real frantic events. They manage to gather hundreds of people. This type of “business” opens the doors to other possible businesses.

Once the elegant dresses or the innovative blouses are made “public”, once they are revealed to the public eye, a new “invasion” is expected. Rows of possible clients could actually see those real works of art closer and even purchase the most appealing ones. Little by little, what starts like an idea to embellish and underline the most beautiful features of a human being turns into a business, into a way of making money. At this level, art is combined with a way of making money, a way of surviving. For a designer, creating does not mean only expressing himself or herself, but also a job.

All in all, fashion means a lot more than a beautiful piece of clothing. Clothes, especially women clothes are just the surface of a detailed business which brings more money we may imagine.
